We’re getting married!

Alright, let's paint the picture. In January 2022, Hannah came up to Prescott to see one of her best friends Mattie, after just recently starting school at Grand Canyon University in Arizona. During her visit up to Prescott, Mattie had plans to go bowling with some friends and had Hannah tag along. Before meeting up with everyone, Mattie texted her friends and let them know that she was going to bring a someone from out of town to hang out with them that night. When Ethan saw this text from Mattie, he told his buddies Shawn and Jarrett, "How funny would it be if Mattie's friend and I just hit it off," without even knowing her name or what she looked like. Throughout the night Ethan and Hannah had some small interactions, like teaching Hannah how to bowl properly and not throw everything in the gutter. It wasn't until they were bringing their bowling shoes back that they had their first full conversation starting with Ethan asking the most important question, "So you're from Michigan huh, I have to ask, Wolverines or Spartans?" Thank God, Hannah said, "Go Blue." It was at that moment, that Ethan knew, his comment earlier in the night was coming true. They started to text pretty regularly over the next couple of months and eventually started dating at the end of March 2022. Since then, they have had many adventures together, like Ethan visiting Hannah in Michigan for the first time and seeing fireflies, taking a day trip to Chicago, going on a mission trip to Mexico together, and even traveling all the way to France with some of their closest friends! They have gone through multiple different seasons of long-distance and are now living in Phoenix, AZ, preparing for the next phase of life.
