Street parking and parking lots are available nearby, but we recommend using Uber/Lyft or walking if you’re staying locally in Old Town.

Please RSVP by January 6, 2026. We know it’s a Friday evening and that DC/Alexandria traffic can be a challenge—we truly appreciate you making time to celebrate with us. Your early RSVP helps us plan a smooth and meaningful night for everyone. Thank you!

What should I do in Old Town Alexandria?

Answer

So much! From historic cobblestone streets to waterfront dining, shopping on King Street, and museums like the Torpedo Factory—check out our “Things to Do” page for ideas.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?

Answer

Yes, all events will be held indoors at Cooper Mill—no need to worry about the weather. There is a rooftop available you can go out on but hopefully there will be heaters!

Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely! A full dinner, dessert, and open bar will be provided. Come hungry and ready to toast!

What’s the weather like in February?

Answer

It’s winter in Virginia! Temperatures typically range from 30° to 50°F—chilly but beautiful. All events will be indoors with plenty of heat, but we recommend bringing a warm coat if you plan to stroll through Old Town. Barring any major snowstorm (fingers crossed!), everything will go on as planned. We’ll keep you posted with any updates.

Are there hotel blocks or lodging recommendations?

Yes! We’ve reserved room block at Hotel Indigo right next door, within walking distance of the venue. Details and the booking link can be found on our Travel page.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are a few children from our immediate family and wedding party. We truly hope you can join us for a fun and relaxing evening!

What’s the best airport to fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Reagan National Airport (DCA)—just a 10-minute drive from Old Town Alexandria. Dulles (IAD) and BWI are also options, but they’re farther away.

What’s the schedule for the night?

The ceremony begins at 5:30 PM, followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We’ll wrap up the celebration by 10:00 PM.

February in Virginia can be unpredictable, but the venue is fully indoors. In the rare event of severe weather, we’ll keep you updated via email and text.

Yes! Everything—from the vows to the last dance—will take place at Cooper Mill Restaurant. No need to travel between venues.
