FAQs

We tried to answer as many common questions as we could, but for any other questions, please reach out to one of us directly.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony between 2:30pm and 2:45pm. The ceremony will begin precisely at 3pm, and we kindly ask all guests to be seated by that time. Please note that late arrivals will not be permitted to enter during the ceremony.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite our guests to dress elegantly for our special day! We're requesting formal/cocktail attire, with ladies opting for floor-length gowns, sophisticated pantsuits, or chic tea-length/midi dresses. Gentlemen should plan on wearing a suit or a dress shirt with slacks. Our venue features paved and wooden floors, ensuring comfortable movement throughout the evening. Please refrain from wearing sage green or eucalyptus green as this color is reserved for our wonderful bridal party. Additionally, avoid wearing white, ivory, or similar shades or any patterns primarily white - we want to make sure the bride stands out on their big day! If you’re looking for inspiration, fall colors will go best with the selected decor and ambiance.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones… no, this will be a strictly 21+ event. We hope you understand and are looking to celebrate with a dressed up, adults only night out - the drinks are on us!

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

To keep our wedding celebration intimate and meaningful, we're inviting guests specifically named on their invitation. While we understand this may mean attending solo, we truly hope you'll still join us in celebrating our special day and share in our joy!

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

For overnight accommodations, our wedding venue offers a select number of packhouse suites available for reservation for Saturday night through a dedicated link. Additionally, we've secured a convenient room block at a nearby hotel to provide comfortable lodging options for our guests. More detailed travel information can be found under the Travel section of our website.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is on-site parking at the venue. Both ceremony and reception will be held at Glasbern, so no need to worry about moving your car at any point. Additionally, a shuttle will be running for guests staying at Hawthorn.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be an open bar that will be staffed until 8:30pm when the reception ends. We hope that you enjoy yourselves but please drink responsibly.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom have opted for doing an unplugged ceremony - meaning there will be NO TOLERANCE of cell phone usage, cameras, or recordings of any kinds by our guests during the ceremony. Please be present in the moment with us and allow our photographers to capture this important moment. We promise to share the photos with you later!
