Most guests will be rolling into Dawn Ranch the morning of September 25th. Cabin check-in opens at 4 PM, so you’ll have time to settle in before the fun kicks off. Then our Welcome Party starts at 6:30 PM!
With us, at Dawn Ranch! We chose Dawn Ranch so we could bring all our favorite people together for a little summer camp in the redwoods. Think fresh air, cozy cabins, and a full weekend of celebrating! We can’t wait to have everyone in one place!
Both our ceremony and reception will take place right at Dawn Ranch! We’ll be celebrating outdoors all evening — from the ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing under the apple orchards. Late September in Sonoma County is usually warm during the day (think 80s) before cooling off at night, so plan for sunshine and a cozy evening. Since most of the festivities take place on grass, we recommend opting for flats or shoes you can comfortably wander around in!
Don’t worry — we’ve got some of your meals covered! We’ll be serving food at the Welcome Party on Friday night, and of course dinner will be provided at the reception on Saturday. The rest of the weekend, you’ll have plenty of options to explore - there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store right next door, and Dawn Ranch also has delicious bites available in the lodge.
Cocktail attire, please! Think suits or blazers for the guys, and dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for the ladies. Our celebration will be outdoors, and while the days are warm, redwood evenings can get a little chilly, so bring a light jacket or wrap for after sunset. Ladies, we highly recommend block heels, wedges, or flats since we’ll be celebrating on grass!
When you fill out your RSVP, please be sure to include any food allergies so we can share them with our catering team and plan accordingly. We want everyone to be well-fed and happy!
We’d love for you to capture the fun and snap plenty of photos throughout the weekend! The only request: please keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment.
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only ceremony and reception.
If it were up to us, we’d invite everyone! Unfortunately, the venue does have a capacity limit and we’re very close to it, so we’re only able to accommodate the guests included on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Don’t worry- this is a very elevated version of summer camp. At Dawn Ranch, each room is a private space with cozy beds, beautiful interiors, and all the modern amenities you’d expect from a boutique hotel. Think camp vibes in the redwoods, but with stylish rooms, proper bathrooms, and plenty of comfort built in!
