Owner and Executive Chef Joe Jack moved to Puerto Vallarta from San Francisco where he was co-owner and chef of Luna Park, his two phenomenally successful restaurants in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Joe has followed his dream of living in Mexico where he opened Joe Jack’s Fish Shack with a cozy bar and restaurant on the main floor and a beautiful open air terrace on the upstairs deck. As with his previous ventures in the States, Joe’s goal in Vallarta is to create a fun, “casually hip” experience all the while focusing on traditional great tasting seafood with comfort food classics and perfect hand crafted cocktails. Now going into its 15th year, Joe Jack’s Fish Shack has firmly established itself as a go-to favorite within the eclectic Vallarta restaurant scene.
Our restaurants offers a wide variety of beloved dishes, from hot Molcajetes to Cochinita Pibil, the Oaxaca Mole, Tampiqueña, mouthwatering Carnitas to flawless flan and the traditional churros. As far as drinks, try our refreshing Hibiscus Margaritas and the house made sangria. The ambiance is as colorful and friendly as Mexico itself. There is something for everyone!
