Yuni is one of Yera's older cousins. She has known Yera since she was born and she always wanted to hold her and have her in her arms when Yera was a baby. They have always been close and when they lived in Colombia, Yera often visited her, making trips from Bogota to Medellin, or waiting for her in Santa Marta. Yuni is one of the people who has shown how proud she is of Yera.

Cousin of the bride. He has a great personality, he is a little adult, very independent and intelligent. He likes to run, jump and watch Bluey or Leo "the Truck". He enjoys being with his uncles and spending time with his grandmother.

Gerard's niece, Justine is a superstar, resilient and brave girl, who has proven her strength and courage in life. She adores her new Tia and she was the happiest to accept being the flower girl. Yera loves her new niece.

Yera has been babysitting Sammy since she was almost 3 years old. Sammy is a little shy, she is very intelligent and learns quickly. She is very close to Yera and understands when she speaks to her in Spanish. She likes to do almost everything with Yera, from playing baseball to making a craft.

Yera has taken care of Lexi since she was 4 years old. She is a sociable, happy, independent, strong and kind girl who really likes to play with any child. Also she really likes building things and playing with Legos. She was the first to ask if she could be a flower girl for Yera's wedding, even when she was not engaged yet.

Alex and Gerard have spent many years living and working together since they first met in college. Both of their parents are from Van Buren and they share a strong Franco-American connection. When Gerard needs advice, Alex is prepared.

Luke met Gerard at the University of Maine, where they first conspired to build a rocket together. Since then, they both left the state to work in different industries, only to come back to Maine to make more rockets together.

Elizan and Gerard have been best buds since high school, where they enjoyed talking about philosophy and playing on sports teams together. Whenever Gerard wants to talk, Elizan is always available.
Richie Byrnes

Richie impressed Gerard when moved to Presque Isle in 2004, and joined a local band less than 1 month later, singing in front of the entire 8th grade class. Richie and Gerard enjoy trying to fish and boat together. They plan on catching a big one some day.
Nick Cloutier

Nick and Gerard have been good friends since high school , where they shared a love for free running and video games. Nick is now Gerard's close neighbor, has a beautiful wife and two kids, and is Gerard's role model when it comes to learning how to be a dad.

A pastry shop where you can find delicious Kolaches. An option for breakfast, lunch or snack in town. They also have salads, coffee and more.
Nordic Heritage Center
If you are looking for a place to go and do some sports outside, this is a good option about 45 minutes from Van Buren. This place has over 20 miles (32 km) of mountain bike trails, and a 9-hole disc golf course. The lodge is open to the public from 6 am to 10 pm and includes kitchen facilities, restrooms, and shower rooms.
