Travel Information for Florida Ceremony

There are a few options for getting to Ormond Beach, FL. Option 1: You can fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) - https://orlandoairports.net/flights/. This airport has direct flights from the Bay but is a 1.5 hour drive - more or less depending on traffic - to Nicole's hometown. If taking this option, a rental car is highly recommended, but you can also take an airport shuttle through Groome transportation (can drop you off at the hotel in Ormond Beach - https://groometransportation.com/daytona/). Note that toll roads are needed to be taken to get to and from the airport. Option 2: You can fly into Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) - https://www.flydaytonafirst.com/. This airport is only about 20 minutes from the hotel. There are not direct flights from the Bay Area into this airport but it is more convenient and less hectic than Orlando. A rental car is still recommended to get around Ormond Beach area. Driving around Ormond: Lyfts and Ubers are used in Ormond Beach area, but it is not to the same level as the Bay Area so wait times may be longer and prices may be higher. We recommend sharing rented vehicles during the trip.

This is the hotel we recommend if attending our wedding as it is a staple of the area, it is on the ocean, and it is an approximately 15 minute drive to Nicole's grandmother's home.
