Travel Note
Please check your visa status to ensure that you can travel to Thailand. Travel eligibility examples below: Canada -- Visa-free entry for up to 60 days for tourism purposes. United States -- Visa-free entry for up to 60 days for tourism purposes. New Zealand -- Visa-free entry for up to 60 days for tourism purposes. Australia -- Visa-free entry for up to 60 days for tourism purposes. Philippines -- Visa-free entry for up to 30 days for tourism purposes (ASEAN member country). Vietnam -- Visa-free entry for up to 30 days for tourism purposes (ASEAN member country). Nepal -- Eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for up to 15 days for tourism purposes. Alternatively, can apply for a tourist visa (e-visa or at a Thai Embassy) for longer stays (e.g., 60 days). Notes: Visa-Free Entry: Guests from Canada, the US, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, and Vietnam must have a passport valid for at least 6 months and proof of onward travel (e.g., return or onward ticket). They’ll need to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival. Visa on Arrival (Nepal): Nepali citizens can obtain a VOA at major Thai airports (e.g., Bangkok) for a 15-day stay. Requirements include a passport valid for 6 months, a confirmed return ticket, proof of funds (10,000 THB per person), and a visa fee (around 2,000 THB). For stays longer than 15 days, they should apply for a tourist visa in advance via the Thai e-visa system or a Thai Embassy. General Advice: Encourage guests to check specific requirements (e.g., proof of accommodation or wedding invitation) and apply early if a visa is needed. They should also confirm if their stay exceeds the visa-free or VOA period, as extensions or pre-arranged visas may be required.
