Will the wedding take place at the Royalton Bavaro?

Answer

No, the wedding ceremony, dinner and reception will be held at a private venue outside of the resort. The wedding and reception will be taking place at KUKUA Beach Club & Restaurant. Transportation to and from KUKUA Beach Club & Restaurant will be provided for guests staying at the Royalton Bavaro. Transportation schedule and additional details will be confirmed once the date gets closer.

Our destination wedding is set for Saturday, May 29, 2021 at KUKUA Beach Club & Restaurant.

Where should I stay? How can I book a room?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Royalton Bavaro Resort. TripGuy Travel (TripGuy.com) will be handling the travel arrangements for us and all of our guests. Please review the "Travel" tab for additional information.

When are booking and payments due?

Answer

If you opt to book your room with TripGuy, all rooms must be booked and paid in full by February 10, 2021.

Is there a shuttle from the resort to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a round trip shuttle from the Royalton Bavaro to the wedding venue. Additional information on timing will be provided as the date gets closer.

What if I am not staying at the Royalton Bavaro?

Answer

If you decide to stay at another resort, please let us know so that we make sure to add you to the wedding guest list, this is because our final headcount will be based on those who have booked their rooms directly with TripGuy. Please also note that transportation to and from KUKUA Beach Club & Restaurant will only be provided for guests staying at the Royalton Bavaro.

Since our final headcount will be based on those who have booked their rooms directly with TripGuy, please let us know your plans so that we make sure to add you to the wedding guest list. Please also make sure you RSVP by clicking on the "RSVP" tab.

Are you hosting any additional events that weekend?

Answer

Yes, we are hosting an all White Beach Welcome Cocktail at the Royalton Bavaro resort on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 6pm-7pm. Due to resort visitor restrictions, only guests staying at the Royalton Bavaro resort can attend. National drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served. All of our wedding guests staying at the Royalton Bavaro are invited. Please RSVP using the "RSVP" tab.

You should fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

Do I need to book airport transfer?

Answer

If you booked your room with TripGuy, the rate includes roundtrip airport transfers. Please make sure you provide your travel information (arrival and departure dates, airline, flight # and arrival and departure times) to TripGuy so they can coordinate your airport transfer.

The dress code for the wedding is beach formal attire.

Is COVID-19 testing offered at the Royalton Bavaro?

Answer

Yes! Following the recent announcement by the CDC requiring all air travelers returning to the US to present a negative COVID-19 test, the Royalton Luxury Resorts has implemented several important measures to support guests. As of January 26, 2021, Royalton Luxury Resorts will offer to US travelers free on-site COVID-19 viral tests and free Medical Assistance coverage to cover the cost of any accidents or illness, including COVID-19 related medical needs until the regulations regarding this new requirement change. Please book your test appointment through the Guest Services Desk upon check-in at the resort to secure a time for testing within three days of departure.
