We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We ACTUALLY met for the first time in a Diversity class called Race Relations. Cue Irony. However, we didn't really speak or pay much attention to one another and completely forgot about each other for a couple years. Two years later, when Alison was meeting up with a mutual friend Julie for happy hour at Barnaby's in West Chester, Alison asked where to find her, and Julie said "Just look for my friend G, he's the tallest guy here!" and sure enough, she found them. Alison immediately thought Gerald was handsome and totally her type, and Gerald liked that Alison didn't ask him how tall he was or make corny tall jokes. Over the next few weeks we randomly ran into each other around campus and town. Gerald finally asked for Alison's number at a school basketball event so they could meet up to ride a mechanical bull in town, but when they arrived, someone had already broken the bull, so we just hung out and got to know each other. Everywhere we went, we were dancing and laughing. It took a few weeks, but finally one night, standing outside of Kildare's in the snow and realizing that all our other friends left us, Gerald leaned down and kissed Alison. That was 11 years ago, and the rest is history.
