It all started at the Winona State Library. Alex was working with a group on an assignment when Colin walked up and proudly announced that he had finished the assignment. Without missing a beat, Alex immediately accused him of not actually doing it. Colin left wondering, "How could this girl say that to me?" A few days later, fate stepped in. Alex was standing at the printer, getting ready for her lab, just as Colin was leaving his. As he walked out the lab room door, he looked over, and said, "Hey, Alex." And from there... it was history. After spending junior and senior year together at WSU, Alex was offered a job in Rochester, MN. Colin took a leap to head back to Iowa and complete his Masters. After 2 long years of long distance, weekend trips, and nightly facetimes.. the final and last day of being apart came to an end. Colin was offered a job at the Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi where Alex and Colin have started their life TOGETHER.
