This is THE PLACE in Manlius for soft serve ice cream. They are known for their black raspberry soft serve (a flavor specific to the Northeastern US!), their Trash Can Sundae, and ice cream coated in a "Twinkle Coat." Tip from the locals: take your cone to the neighboring Swan Pond and enjoy a walk viewing the ducks and swans!

Green Lakes State Park
Fun Fact: this is where we took our engagement photos! The name doesn’t lie, the lake is GREEN, due to its depth. There is a lovely walking path around the lake for hiking. Free admission after Labor Day!
Chittenango Falls State Park
Glacial sculpting over 400 million-year-old bedrock is responsible for a 167 ft waterfall! View the falls from the top, or on the footbridge in the gorge. Fees include $5 admission per car.

Want to visit the biggest mall in New York State? Or ride an antique carousel? Visit Destiny USA (or "Carousel Mall" as some natives still call it) to shop, eat, and even tackle a ropes course!
Jamesville Beach Off-Leash Dog Park
We know some of our guests are traveling with dogs- if so, we highly recommend this off-leash dog park! There is a huge field, a path through the woods, and a shallow river that dogs can play in. Be sure to bring your own water!
