We're getting married!

We're living proof that online dating does work :) We met through an app called Hinge, and after a couple of very short texts, decided to meet up in person. We met on October 9th, 2021 in the Sloany Pony at Parsons Green, knowing practically nothing about each other. Ray was 3 hours late as he misjudged his timings back from Manchester after very late night out drinking with his weightlifting friend Paul. Fortunately, he did message to let me know in advance at which point I offered him the opportunity to re-schedule (with no intention to re-schedule!). Confirming he still did want to meet, we eventually met up in the pub, drank multiple pints, had sausage and mash and then had to depart quickly when Ray's hangover from the night before kicked in. Ray gave me his number and asked me to get in touch. I messaged him 4 days later! Our second date was postponed due to Ray getting Covid and having to quarantine for 10 days, during which time we spoke regularly on the phone, for hours at a time. When we finally met up in person for a civilised dinner and drinks, by the time the night finished, we had been thrown out of one pub and I had a Police report in my pocket after a close escape from a street robbery. Needless to say, the rest is history and there's never been a dull moment since :)
