Our wedding will be semi-formal attire, and we kindly ask that guests dress accordingly. Think along the lines of button-downs, dress pants, midi or cocktail dresses, and shoes that complement the occasion. Please note that jeans, shorts, and flip-flops are not a fit for the celebration - we'd love for everyone to feel dressed up and comfortable for this special day!
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. We will have a short period of time for cocktail hour that will be held outside, in the courtyard of the venue.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adults-only event. We kindly ask that you leave your children at home. Thank you for understanding.
Please RSVP by August 1, 2026. If you cannot attend, we will definitely miss you! If you have not RSVP'd by August 1st, we will contact you to confirm your plans.
Yes! There will be parking provided at the Decatur First United Methodist Church. If you are lodging, there will be a shuttle from the hotels to take you to and from the venue. It is recommended that you utilize the shuttles.
Yes! We ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the beautiful moments of the night.
If your invitation specifies that you may bring a guest, then yes. Otherwise, we request you come solo. We are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. But don't worry, there will be plenty of other people to party with!
No. We know our wedding falls right in the middle of football season, but for this special day, no games will be streamed or played at any point. While we love a good Saturday matchup as much as anyone, this occasion means the world to us, and we hope you'll be fully present in celebrating with us. Football will still be there next weekend - our wedding only happens once! Thank you for understanding.
