Lido Marina Village is a great waterfront destination perfect for shopping, dining, and soaking in Newport Beach’s marina views. Things to Do: Boutique Shopping – Explore a variety of shops & boutiques. Restaurants – Stop by one of our favorite restaurants, Bearflag Fish Co. for a casual lunch or dinner! Enjoy fresh seafood at Nobu or Bluewater Grill, or casual waterfront dining at Malibu Farm. Sunset Cocktails – Grab a cocktail at Lido Bottle Works, Topside Roof Deck at the Lido House, or The Winery. Harborfront Strolls – Walk along the docks and take in the beautiful yachts and harbor views. Electric Boat Rentals – Rent a Duffy boat and cruise the harbor! This is one of our favorite things to do with friends!
“The Peninsula” features the harbor on one side and the beach on the other. There are a variety of restaurants and bars with live music the make the Peninsula a great daytime or nightlife destination. Things to do: Relax on the Beach – Hang out on Balboa Beach or watch surfing pro's catch some waves at The Wedge, a famous surf spot. Sunset Walks & Bike Rides – Stroll along the boardwalk or rent a bike to cruise the coastline. Grab a Drink - the peninsula is home to some of our favorite beach bars, including Mutt Lynch's, Blackie's by the Sea, the Blue Beet, and Stag Bar. Take the Balboa Island Ferry - A short ferry ride connects you to the charming Balboa Island.
Balboa Island is the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll, a scenic ferry ride, and some delicious local treats with amazing waterfront views. Things to Do: Waterfront Walks – Walk along the island’s perimeter for beautiful bay views. Pick up a coffee at Huskin's Coffee or a cinnamon roll at Balboa Island Baking Company as a treat afterwards! Walk Along Marine Avenue – Browse boutique shops, art galleries, and cafés. Try the Famous Balboa Bar – A must-try! This chocolate-dipped ice cream bar is a local favorite, especially at Sugar ‘n Spice or Dad’s Donuts. Take a Ferry Ride – Enjoy a short but scenic ride to the Balboa Peninsula, where you can access the harbor & the beach. (Note: the ferry is cash only!)
Corona del Mar is a neighborhood known for its coastal cliffs and stunning beaches. Things to Do: Corona del Mar State Beach – A great spot for hanging on the beach, exploring tide pools, or a sunset walk along the shore. Little Corona Beach – A hidden gem with tide pools and crystal-clear waters, perfect for a beach day. Enjoy great restaurants – Grab a bite at spots like Chronic Tacos (grab & go), Bandera (Southwest American), the Side Door (English Pub), or Gulfstream (upscale American). Catch a Sunset at Inspiration Point – One of the most scenic overlooks in Newport Beach. We love grabbing takeout from Chronic Tacos and bringing to Inspiration Point for dinner with a view!
