What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm on Saturday, with a welcome drink served from 3:30pm by the lake. Please arrive at the Lake House no later than 3:45pm.

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please reply through the RSVP tab no later than 4th January. Please also use this to let us know if anyone will be joining you on Friday evening or for Sunday lunch.

What is the requested attire for Saturday?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in black tie attire, with either tuxedos or black gowns. This means break out your best black floor length dresses or a black dinner suit with a bow tie. Please avoid wearing above ankle dresses or patterned items for the day.

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

We are already spoiled enough to be able to celebrate with our family and friends; gifts are not necessary or expected and we will not have a wishing well. Should you wish to bring something, we would love for you to bring a bottle of your favourite wine; be it your go to school-night bottle to or one you save for special occasions. Please let us know when we should open the bottle and why it is special to you so we can think of you when we share a glass together.

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

We would love to keep Saturday's events intimate with only our adult friends and family members listed on your invitation. If your children (or other guests) are staying with you in Daylesford but are not on the invitation, they are welcome to attend the welcome dinner on Friday and the recovery lunch on Sunday. Please ensure that you RSVP for them so we can accurately reserve seating.

Can I take pictures or videos?

Answer

Please feel free to capture as many pictures and videos as you like over the weekend. We only ask that you are fully present for the ceremony and allow for our photographer to capture this moment for us. We also kindly ask that we be the first to share photos of the bride and groom on social media.

Where are the ceremony, reception & after party taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will take place on-site at the Lake House Daylesford. An informal afterparty will be held at the Bridal house (27 Hill Street Daylesford ) for drinks and dancing.

Where can I park on Saturday?

Answer

If you wish to drive, parking is available on-site at Lake House, where you will be met by one of the lovely staff. There are also a number of local taxi services serving Daylesford and the surrounding towns, being a small town you may wish to prebook. Uber is unfortunately not available in Daylesford so please account for this when making your arrangements. If requiring a taxi after the reception, the Lake House staff will happily organise this for you on the day!
