Hi there! We’re Jack and Georgia, and we’re so excited to share our journey with you. We met in an unexpected way—online. What started as a casual chat quickly turned into something much more. Our first date was at the Gosta Green pub in Birmingham's City Centre, where we immediately felt a connection. From that moment on, we grew stronger together. Georgia learned to manage Jack's impulsive ideas, while Jack honed the art of helping Georgia be more punctual (a work in progress!). Our first year together was filled with adventure. We managed to squeeze in trips to New York, Barcelona, Ibiza and even a few music festivals, creating memories and strengthening our bond. But then, as it did for everyone, the pandemic hit. Even though travel became more difficult, we didn’t let that stop us. We spent weeks exploring hidden gems around the UK, and during this time, we both realised we had an insatiable desire to see more of the world once the world reopened. In 2022, our dream became a reality when we moved to Vancouver. We found our first home on Continental Street in the heart of the city and fell in love with the majestic mountains surrounding us. It was here that Jack introduced Georgia to winter sports, and skiing quickly became one of our greatest passions (and challenges!). We still cherish the laughter and thrills on the slopes, as well as the quiet moments together in the snow. Our love for winter adventures led us to the Yukon, where we chased the northern lights. Seeking a truly unforgettable experience, we stayed in a yurt overlooking the frozen Cowley Lake. With temperatures lingering around -30°C we had to work hard to stay warm. Ignoring the frigid temperatures, it was on that very first night that, despite Georgia accidentally burning Jack’s hand with boiling water from a hot water bottle, Jack proposed under a shooting star. It was a perfect moment that summed up our relationship—unpredictable, adventurous, and full of love. We can’t wait to continue this journey together, and we are so grateful to have you by our side as we take this next step in our story. With love, Jack & Georgia
