FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 4th 2025, via the RSVP tab on this site.

Question

How do I get to the ceremony?

Answer

Arrival by Uber or Taxi For your convenience, please request to be dropped off at the main entrance on Spring Street. We will warmly welcome you on the grand front steps — the striking double doors at the heart of the building’s façade — where we’ll gather before entering together for the ceremony. Parking While the Old Treasury Building does not have onsite parking, nearby options include: Metered street parking along Macarthur Street and St Andrews Place. Secure paid parking garages just a short stroll away, such as those on Flinders Lane. We suggest allowing extra time to find parking and enjoy the beautiful surroundings on your walk to the venue. Public Transport The venue is easily accessible by public transport: Parliament Station is the closest train stop, just a short walk away. Several tram lines run along Collins Street, including routes 11, 12, 35, 48, and 109.

Question

What Does Formal Cocktail Attire Mean?

Answer

Formal cocktail attire sits between semi-formal and black tie — polished, stylish, and ideal for an elegant celebration and guests might wear: cocktail or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or a sophisticated pantsuit. Floor-length gowns are welcomed but not expected. A tailored suit with a collared shirt is perfect; a tie is encouraged. Tuxedos are not required but welcome to be worn if you wish to go the extra step.

Question

Can I request a dietary option?

Answer

We’ll be serving a curated multi-course meal with drinks throughout the evening. There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options available. If you have any specific dietary needs or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make arrangements.

Question

Is there accomodation close by?

Answer

If you are looking for accomodation, we recommend The Royce Hotel, where our reception will take place. Let Georgia or Emanuala know as teh hotel offers discounts our guests. There are also plenty of hotels nearby in Melbourne CBD.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event.

Question

What happens if I’m running late?

Answer

The ceremony at the Melbourne Registry Office has a strictly allocated time slot that we cannot change or extend. If you arrive late, unfortunately, you will not be permitted to enter, and you will miss the ceremony. We kindly ask that you plan to arrive early to ensure you don’t miss this special moment.

Question

How do we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The quickest way from the Old Treasury Building to The Royce Hotel is by ride share or taxi, which takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take Tram 58 from Macarthur Street (stop 9) toward Toorak and alight at St Kilda Road/Slaone Street (stop 22), right outside the hotel.

Question

Is there Parking at the Royce Hotel?

Answer

Valet parking is available for $70 (please prearrange with the hotel). Limited hourly self-parking is available on Brumby Street, just adjacent to the hotel, and there are several Wilson Parking facilities within a 5–10 minute walk.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the registry office’s capacity limits, the ceremony and lunch will be an intimate gathering of close family and friends. We truly appreciate your understanding. That said, we’re so excited to celebrate with everyone later in the evening, with dancing, canapés, a DJ, and more. We warmly invite your partner to join us then—please just let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Got another question?

Answer

If you have other questions than what we have listed here than reach out to Georgia or Emanuala.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift — and Georgia has made it very clear that we already have way too much stuff - so, no gifts please! That said, if you’d like to see more of Emanuela’s travel IG stories or support Georgia’s next ambitious DIY project, financial blessings would be warmly received (and very well used).

Question

What if I can only attend some of the events on the day?

Answer

We completely understand that not everyone may be able to attend the entire day. Whether you can join us for the ceremony, lunch, or just the evening celebrations — we’ll be so happy to have you there for any part you can make. Just let us know your plans when you RSVP.
