FAQs

Please note our wedding has been postponed to May 8, 2021.
Question

What should I bring to the wedding?

Answer

Please bring the following in accordance with Fruitlands Museum rules and COVID-19 guidance: - a face covering or mask - a valid driver's license or passport to be served alcohol - good vibes!

Question

When do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Please note the Fruitlands Museum mask policy below: In accordance with directive from the local Board of Health and State Division of Labor and Standards, we wanted to share our updated policy on the wearing of masks at events. This safety precaution is the most critical to ensure all guests and staff stay safe. Guests attending an event at Fruitlands Museum are expected to wear a mask when they arrive on our property. The mask may only be removed when standing or sitting at a cocktail or dinner table while eating or drinking. If a guest is not wearing a mask when moving about, our staff will approach them and politely ask them to put their mask on.

Question

Is there parking at Fruitlands?

Answer

Yes- if you choose to drive to Fruitlands there will be plenty of parking available for wedding guests free of any charge. Please note that no cars can be left overnight in the Fruitlands parking lot. The entrance will be gated after the end of the event.

Question

Is the wedding still going to take place?

Answer

Update 2/25/2021: We wanted to provide an update here to confirm that we are still holding our wedding on 5/8/2021! We are also very excited to report that on 2/25, Massachusetts announced that effective 3/22, wedding capacities have increased from 25 to 150. Importantly, dance floors are once again permitted! We expect that masks will be required to some extent and that there will be social distancing required between tables, but we hope everyone can join us if they are comfortable doing so. If you’d like to book a room at a nearby hotel, please inquire with one of the two below hotels: Hilton Garden Inn Devens Common SpringHill Suites by Marriott Devens Common Center We hope to see you all there, but we completely understand if you can’t make it due to COVID-19 circumstances. We will continue to keep in touch via this website, and we can't wait to share our special day with you. Best, Duncan & Georgia

Question

Can I bring a guest?
