We're Getting Married!

We met after being set up on a blind date, all thanks to Fiona (Georgia’s sister-in-law) and her cousin Evan (Dave’s Best Man). Marcus (Georgia's brother) and Fiona were at a Christmas lunch where they first met Dave and the kernel of an idea to set us up first started, and on the 13th January 2022 we had our first date. There was immediate chemistry and connection, and the relationship grew pretty organically from there. In March 2023 we moved in together and in June 2024 we got engaged in Queenscliff with a beautiful intimate proposal. So far in our relationship every Christmas has been unique and marked with a new milestone. As two people who love Christmas, this has been an exciting way to mark our relationship. In Christmas 2021 we were set up, by 2022 we were dating, the following year we were living together, then after that engaged and pregnant. 2025 is our first Christmas with Amity as a family of 4 with our dog Goblin, and Christmas 2026 as husband and wife. A blind date led to a very beautiful life together, welcoming our beautiful baby girl in April 2025 and building our family.
