FAQs

We have tried to answer any and all questions that our family and friends might have about our big day!
Question

When will we receive the official invite?

Answer

Official invites will be sent out approximately 6 months before the big day with a clear explanation of how to officially RSVP your attendance. We have chosen to also send out Save The Dates so that all of our friends and family have as much notice, and time to book any hotels, flights, trains etc required, as possible!

Question

How do I pick my food options?

Answer

When the official invites are sent out, they will have another QR code on the RSVP page where you can confirm your attendance and pick from our menu options for the wedding breakfast. You will also be able to inform us of any dietary requirements.

Question

Is there accommodation on site?

Answer

There is limited accommodation on site. We want to ensure that the bridal party and nearest and dearest are accommodated, so on site accommodation has already been allocated by ourselves. We will contact you directly if we are able to offer you accommodation on site. Otherwise, there is a list of nearby accommodation on the travel page.

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

No plus ones have been given. Only the persons named on the Save the Date envelope and Invites have been invited to attend.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love all your little ones, we have made the decision that the only children that will be invited are the children of our wedding party. We completely understand if you are unable to attend due to childcare issues, but we do hope you can still make it!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 1pm, so guests are kindly requested to arrive for 12pm, with everyone to be seated by 12:30pm.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on site!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear formal wedding attire (e.g. suits, kilts, dresses, fascinators etc.) We do not have a specific colour scheme that you must follow so feel free to wear whatever colour you desire, with the polite request to avoid wearing any white/ ivory for obvious reasons.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/ reception?

Answer

We have made the decision to have an unplugged ceremony, so kindly request that all guests refrain from taking photos during this time and instead enjoy being present as we make this commitment to one another. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away!
