Formal! For the ladies, dresses and heels will be perfect. And for the gentlemen, suits or dinner jackets and ties/bow ties are encouraged.
The ceremony will start at 1pm, but if you've been to a wedding before, that means getting there anywhere from 12.30-45pm to be seated by 1pm. If everything goes to plan, the groom and groomsmen should be there to say hi prior to the ceremony!
The church's address is 251 Yarra Road, Wonga Park 3115, but their main entrance is Gatters Road. As you drive into the church, the road splits in two; both ways lead to a carpark, so it's just a choose your own adventure! We would recommend carpooling, as we are expecting big numbers!
We will have a dedicated wedding photographer and videographer who will be capturing our ceremony for us. We ask that you live in the moment and keep your phones in your pocket on Do Not Disturb!
There will be an afternoon tea which all guests are encouraged to stick around for! The bridal party will stay back a while to catch up. Otherwise, please check out our 'Things To Do' tab for some ideas for in-between locations!
The reception will start at 5pm, with a cocktail hour commencing shortly after. The venue asks that you leave by 11pm, with a strict closure of 11.15pm.
There is plenty of parking at the reception venue, which is about a 200m walk from the venue's entrance.
We have a registry page, but if you would prefer to give a monetary gift, there will be a physical wishing well there on the day.
Let's hope it's not, but in any case, both the ceremony and reception venues are indoors with outdoor options. Just bring an umbrella for the short walks from the car park, and you'll be laughing!
Inspired by Matthew 19:14, children are absolutely welcome at the ceremony. However, we do not have the capacity to invite children to the reception, unless said child is a direct relative of the bride or groom!
