FAQs

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Pisa or Florence are both within an hour and a half of our Wedding venue.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the venue/our accommodation?

Answer

We'd suggest renting a car, there's plenty of companies linked closely with the airports. We've previously used Centauro Cars when we've been to Tuscany but booked via Skyscanner when booking our flights.

Question

When should I arrive in Italy?

Answer

Our Wedding will be taking place on Sunday 13th June 2027, however there will be an event taking place at the venue the afternoon/evening before the Wedding, but it's completely up to you whether you'd like to take part in this!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are lots of lovely places to stay in the area. We’d recommend having a look on Airbnb, where you’ll find plenty of nearby options to suit different budgets and group sizes. Booking early is always a good idea as accommodation can fill up quickly! Please see the below link which contains some places to stay and should give you a good idea of location to stay close to. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kjxeSx1g3EBG3cM0raYJCO3-HRra0Cssm61jvXypB8Q/edit?usp=sharing Groomsmen & bridal party - we may have made arrangements already for you to stay with us, but if you're unsure if this applies to you please drop us a message.

Question

Is transportation provided between accommodations and the venue?

Answer

We'll provide contacts for reputable local taxi companies which our venue regularly work with closer to the time.

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

This is entirely up to you! We will be staying at the Wedding venue Fri-Tues, and the other guests who we've invited to stay with us are more than welcome to stay for the whole duration. But you may also want to come out a few days earlier or extend the trip and make a holiday out of it.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The Wedding Day dress code will be typical formal Wedding attire, however it likely will be warm so make sure your outfit is suitable for the warm weather. Wear suncream, bring your sunglasses/sunhat and possibly a change of shoes if you want to be comfier as the day goes on. One of the benefits of getting married in Italy is the gorgeous weather which is pretty much guaranteed (unlike the UK...) but we want to make sure you're all comfortable too as the Wedding will be located outdoors. On the day if anybody needs to take a sit down somewhere cool, you are more than welcome to cool down inside the air-conditioned venue.

Question

What cuisine will be served throughout the day?

Answer

During the Drinks Reception there will be an Antipasti buffet with typical Italian food - Bruschetta, Meats, Cheese etc. and then for the main Wedding Breakfast, this will be a 4 course Italian meal which we will share the menu for closer to the time so we can send your chosen options over to the venue. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Most children are invited and we’d genuinely love to have them there. If your child is included, their name will appear on your invitation. We also completely understand if you’d prefer to make the most of a rare child‑free day (or even turn it into a mini holiday) — no judgement at all, and we fully support that choice. We know that for some families, having their child there is really important. If that’s the case for you and their name isn’t listed, please reach out to us so we can chat. We want everyone to feel comfortable and included while still keeping things manageable with our venue and plans.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Your invitation will list all invited guests by name. If a plus one is included, their name will appear on your invitation. Otherwise, we’re unable to extend additional invitations.

Question

When will you be sending out formal invitations and wanting us to RSVP?

Answer

We aim to get the formal invitations out later this year just because we know how much circumstances can change in a matter of months, with the aim to then have RSVP's returned to us by early next year.
