We have a formal dress code where usual smart wedding attire applies. If you own a kilt and would like to wear it, please do! Summery hues encouraged. Bring on colour!
YES! Bring some spare (flat!) shoes that you can easily spin, swing, and stomp in…
Many of you will be travelling to be with us. Your presence is more than gift enough. However, if you would still like to send us something, we have set up an online registry of things we are saving for: https://www.weddingshop.com/Buy/View/215118
We will be having an indoor church ceremony. The drinks reception will be outdoors if the weather is right! The rest of the reception will be based indoors. There’s a mixture of gravel and concrete path to and from the church and gardens to explore!
We kindly ask that you don’t take photos or videos during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer to capture everything and can share these with you after the wedding. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like. Don’t forget to share them with us on WhatsApp or email them to us. However, please do not post pictures of us as a couple online until we have introduced ourselves as Mr & Mrs first!
There is parking available at the venue should you wish to drive. All cars will need to be moved by 10am on the 14th June. Please refrain from parking at the church unless you will be driving it away the same evening. The church and venue are within 3 minute walking distance.
There are plenty of options for accommodation in the local area. Please see some suggestions on our Travel page. We also recommend exploring Airbnb options in the area. Early booking is advised.
The church and venue are only a 3 minute walk away from each other. We are considering putting on a mini bus from Prestwold Hall to hotels in Loughborough at the end of the night. If you would be interested in a spot on the mini bus (rather than paying for a taxi), please let us know.
Absolutely! However, we understand you might want a night to fully let your hair down. Please inform us separately if you plan to bring your children. Otherwise we will assume they are not attending. There is a play park on sight, some garden games, and of course the opportunity to boogie should you wish to bring them to the celebrations.
Please RSVP no later than 1st April 2026. No April Fools, please!
