This was one of the bride's favorite summer hang-outs growing up! Georgia and Patrick made a trip to Kings Island junior year of college and had a blast. His favorite coaster is Diamondback; her favorite was Firehawk, although this coaster was torn down in 2018. Rest in peace, Firehawk.
The bride has made several trips to this museum growing up! The Cincinnati Museum Center resides in the old Union Terminal, which is regarded as one of the last great American train stations built. The featured exhibit from April to September this year is "Barbie: A Cultural Icon." The exhibit includes items such as the first Barbie doll (1959) and an original Dreamhouse, as well as reflects on Barbie's contribution to pop culture and fashion.
The bride's first memory of the Air Force Museum includes watching an outdoor plane demonstration and eating astronaut ice cream. Displaying over 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles, this is the largest military aviation museum and is only a short drive away in Dayton, Ohio. The Air Force Museum will be celebrating their 102nd anniversary in May!
A favorite of the bride and groom's, Jungle Jim's is a 200,000 square foot international market. You can find anything and everything there, including the Big Cheese, Soupy the Campell's Soup Can, animatronics, and the Big G Cereal Bowl Band. We make a yearly trip to the market when visiting for the holidays.
