Why does my invite say reception only?

We’re so excited to celebrate our marriage with all of you! The invitation mentions "reception only" because Georgette and Rasheed have chosen to have a small, intimate ceremony with just immediate family and close friends. While we wish we could invite everyone to the ceremony, we’re thrilled to share this special moment with you at the reception where we can all come together and celebrate our new beginning. Thank you for understanding!

Does everyone get a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

Not everyone will receive a plus one. Your invitation will specify whether it's for you alone, you and a guest, or for your entire family. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the celebration intimate and manageable!

Answer

Please RSVP online! A QR code is included in your invitation, which will take you to our wedding website where you can access the RSVP page. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. The reception party will be indoors to ensure everyone stays comfortable. We’re excited to celebrate with you, rain or shine!

Please arrive by 12:00pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30pm. No guests will be permitted into the ceremony after 12:30pm.

The reception will end at 8:00pm, and there are no plans for an after-party at this time. If anything changes, we'll be sure to let everyone know.

Yes, there will be a short gap between the ceremony and reception. Light refreshments will be offered at the church, so guests attending the ceremony will have a place to relax until it's time to depart for the reception. The reception venue is about a 45-minute drive from the church.

Yes, photos are welcome! Please just be mindful and respectful of the professional photographers, as they’ll be capturing these special moments as well.
