Our journey began decades ago in the early '90s. We met, became friends, and shared countless moments that could have sparked a romance. But alas, our timing was impeccable—impeccably off, that is. We navigated our lives, each building our own path, until an Allflex Christmas party in 2011 changed everything. The Allflex Christmas drinks at Brewers Apprentice became the evening of an unexpected kickoff to our love story. Despite the geographical distance—George in Auckland and Nathan in Palmerston North—after a small debate on pros and cons we decided to give it a shot. Our long-distance relationship thrived, and we even managed to get legally married during those early years. Clearly, we like to do things the unconventional way (like having our wedding 11 years after getting married). The real adventure began when we moved to Dallas, Texas, together. In a new country with no one but each other, we built a life filled with shared passions for motorsport and animals. More importantly, we discovered the joy of our shared laughter, the strength in supporting each other's quirks, and the bond formed by making big decisions together—like whether to get another pet, another car ... or both. These elements became the glue that held our relationship together, turning our years of friendship into a lasting partnership. Who knew a boozy Christmas party could lead to all this?
