Where is the wedding and how do I get there?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at the Prospect Park Boathouse in Brooklyn, NY. The address 101 East Drive, Brooklyn, NY 11225. The Boathouse is located inside Prospect Park. Please note that it is about a 10-20 minute walk through the park to reach the Boathouse. We recommend entering Prospect Park at the entrance on 100 Ocean Ave; the Intersection of Ocean Ave. and Lincoln Road. By subway: The nearest stop is Prospect Park Station (B/Q/S lines). By car or rideshare: Ask to be dropped off at 100 Ocean Ave. Once at the entrance of the park, enter via Lincoln Road/ East Lake Drive and follow park signs to the Boathouse.

Do I need to rent a car and is there parking available?

Answer

We do not recommend renting a car. Our venue does not have a public parking lot. While there’s limited street parking near the park entrances and a small paid lot nearby, we recommend using public transit or rideshare if possible.

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal Attire is requested. The Boathouse has both indoor and outdoor spaces, so consider bringing a light layer for the evening celebration. Note that the Boathouse’s main terrace and the surrounding areas have cobblestone flooring, so we recommend comfortable or block-heeled shoes rather than stilettos for women.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly. Please plan to arrive at 5pm. We recommend budgeting 20 minutes for the walk to the Boathouse from the entrance of the park and to find your seat.

Can I bring a plus-one? Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the capacity of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones unless otherwise specified on your invitation. Details about children’s attendance are noted on your invitation.

The Boathouse has an indoor space and a covered terrace, so the celebration will go on rain or shine!
