Hi:) I'm Alyssa!! I was born on May 5th, 1999. I was raised in Rochester, MN. My parents are Lori and Terry. My mom's boyfriend is Jim and my step-mom is Anita. I have one sibling, Cassidy (maid of honor). My step-siblings are Mariah and Luke. I have a family dog named Quinn who is a Yorkie. My grandparents are Carolyn and Jack. I attended Harriet Bishop Elementary School, John Adams Middle School, and John Marshall High School. In high school, I was on the swim team, I was vice president of Key Club, and I was in National Honors Society. I was in the Rochester Rowing Club senior year of high school. I was a dancer from ages 3-16. I danced tap, ballet, and jazz. I was a swimmer from ages 3-23. In college, I swam for UW-La Crosse for five years. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2021 and went to graduate school at UW-La Crosse for Clinical Exercise Physiology and graduated in 2022. I had an internship in Duluth after school, and they hired me on as a Cardiac Rehab Specialist after the internship. My hobbies include swimming, down-hill skiing, anything related to health and fitness, hanging out with Zach and friends, playing cards (my favorite game is Euchre), jigsaw puzzles, shopping, random fun arts and crafts, planning the wedding, and eating at fun restaurants with Zach!

Hi everyone, I was born in Rochester, Minnesota on August 14, 1995. I have a younger brother named Alex, my mom Nancy, and my dad Chris. I currently have two family dogs Hazel (Bernedoodle) and Henry (Wire-haired pointer) and also three cats (Larry, Leroy, and Lucy). I grew up and went to grade school at Holy Spirit Catholic School, middle school at John Adams, and high school at Lourdes High School. Growing up I loved playing piano, percussion, golf, chess, skiing, and video games. In high school I joined and participated in the marching band, winter drumline, jazz band, liturgical choir, and golf team. I was also in Boy Scouts of America and went on numerous camping trips, from snorkeling the waters of the Florida Keys, to backpacking through the mountains of New Mexico. Through the Boy Scouts, I was able to work on and earn the rank of Eagle Scout. During high school, I was lucky to be able to travel on a school trip to Rome, Italy. I have also traveled with my family to other exciting locations in the US, and also one trip to Sydney Australia. I went to the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, with a minor in Chemistry. During college I participated in a competitive winter drumline called Minnesota Brass. After college, I began working at Optum as an Associate Software Engineer and now currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Optum.

At the time we met Zach was living and working in Bloomington, MN and Alyssa was living and going to school in La Crosse, WI. We both grew up in Rochester, MN. Both of us had decided to go home to Rochester on the same weekend. On Friday night we were both out to eat with our families at the same time (different restaurants) and waiting to get a table. It was at that time that we both swiped right on each other on Tinder and Zach messaged Alyssa. Alyssa responded, and we continued to message each other throughout the weekend. Then we decided to meet up for our first date on Sunday morning at Caribou on October 20, 2019.
