The Driskill is a wonderful hotel downtown. Regardless of where you stay this weekend, we recommend stopping by their bakery for coffee or brunch. Only a short walk from the Cathedral.
Lamberts
One of our favorite restaurants downtown. Fun fact- we came here right after getting engaged!
Meat & Bread
If you're looking for a quicker bite, Meat and Bread is a favorite.
Elephant Room
This is a jazz club downtown that we love! We came here on one of our very first dates. If you're looking for a quintessential Austin evening, we recommend stopping in for top notch music and drinks.
Uptown Sports Club
A fun southern bar on East 6th St. Many of the surrounding bars are super fun as well!
Lady Bird Lake Trail
This is a great trail in the heart of downtown. If you are hoping to get in a run or a leisurely stroll during the weekend, this is a perfect spot.
Texas Capitol
If you're feeling tourist-y, definitely check out our State Capitol and surrounding grounds! Not only is the Capitol full of history and classic Texas charm, but it has also been Charlotte's workplace for the past few years!
