Jeremy and Riley’s story began at Liberty University. Riley was a graduate student working as a teaching assistant, while Jeremy was playing Division I baseball. Jeremy’s version of how they met: “Riley was my teammate’s Journalism teacher!” Riley’s version of how they met: “Jeremy had actually noticed me at the college gym, where I overheard him talking about me to his friends, but he never came up and said hello. A couple of weeks later, a mutual friend posted a photo of me on social media, which caught Jeremy’s attention. He asked that friend about me and spent about a month trying to get to talk to me before I finally agreed to go on a date. Yes, I happened to be his teammate’s teacher, but that’s not how we met!” In January 2023, Jeremy and Riley went on their first date at Vinny’s in Lynchburg, Virginia. Riley even finished both her meal and Jeremy’s that night, and from that moment on, the two have been inseparable. ❤️
