Taylor and George’s story began long before their first date—though neither of them realized it at the time. They both attended Bible school together about eight years ago but never actually spoke. Years later, they reconnected, and what seemed like a simple reconnection slowly began to feel like the start of something special. On their first date, George picked Taylor up with an orchid waiting in the car—a thoughtful gesture that immediately made her realize he was a true gentleman. They went out for lunch, both a little nervous at first, but before long the conversation began to flow and the nerves melted away. By the end of the day, neither of them wanted it to end. From there, their relationship quickly became full of adventure, laughter, and more than a few plane tickets. Between spontaneous road trips, paddle boarding on mountain lakes, cooking meals together, and exploring new cities, they discovered they shared the same adventurous spirit. Both love trying new things, traveling, building businesses, and saying “yes” to whatever fun idea comes next. Through it all, they believe the Lord was faithfully guiding their story. What started as two people getting to know each other grew into a deep friendship, a partnership, and a shared faith that continues to shape their lives. Whether navigating long distance, meeting each other’s families, or dreaming about the future, they could see how God was gently weaving their lives together. George’s steady heart, humor, and entrepreneurial spirit perfectly complement Taylor’s warmth, faith, and joyful energy. Together they love dreaming about the future, building meaningful community, and creating a home filled with laughter, hospitality, and purpose. Eventually George made the move to Austin so they could finally be in the same place—and not long after, he proposed. Taylor said yes (of course!), and the two were married in a small courthouse ceremony shortly after. They are so thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness in bringing them together and can’t wait to celebrate at their wedding with all of you as they begin this next chapter—full of faith, adventure, and a lifetime of choosing each other. 🤍
