Plans changed but our love remains! Please join us in an intimate affair as we finally say “I Do”.
They say you find true love where and when you least expect it. Well this is so true for us! We met casually through a mutual loved one, this special person just so happened to be the bride's brother and the groom's best friend! We had no idea what God had in store for us when we initially met in the beginning of 2013. Fast forward to the end of 2015 and the sparks began! From what started out as a joke through a text message ultimately turned into this wonderful love story of ours!
On our first date we had dinner at Buddakan and then took a walk on The High Line in the City. During dinner, we made a toast where George said "cheers to this being your last first date" of course I melted inside but maintained my composure and said to myself "man that was a good line." Almost three years later, George took me back to The High Line for what he said was killing time while we waited to meet up with some friends. I was distracted and too busy talking to him about a reality show that we liked to watch that I didn't put much thought into the sentiment of the location. We found a bench that was right in front of a sparkling Empire State Building and continued talking during our talk George shifted the conversation, he got down on one knee and asked me to take his hand not as his girlfriend anymore but now to be his future wife after running around in circles screaming I finally said YES!
