How We Met

George and Natasha met at Omega Diner. Natasha was working as a hostess, and George was working as a waiter. George hates the story of how they met because he HATES admitting he was dating his boss's daughter! George later shared that he used to go to the kitchen and call his friends to ask for advice on how to talk to Natasha. Natasha later admitted that she used to "pretend" she had something to "put away" by the counter where George's station was in order to talk to him. One day, George mustered up the courage to ask Natasha on a date. He asked her to go to a Greek Night (If you know Natasha and George, this is typical!). But, they never went to Greek Night. Instead, George took Natasha for sushi (her favorite!!) and then to a spot called "Passion Puddle" (ha!) at Rutgers University.

Through the Years

First comes school, then comes the rest of our lives

When George and Natasha met, they were both undergrad college students (George at Rutgers and Natasha at TCNJ). Natasha graduated and spent the next three years getting her Masters and Post-Masters Professional Diploma in School Psychology. George graduated and went off to spend the next three years in law school. First, George went to school in Delaware. Natasha cried many tears as she realized their relationship would be long distance. She overcame her fear of driving over bridges to visit George! Delaware was a little boring, but Natasha managed to find stores to keep herself occupied while George was in class (You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl!). After a year, George transferred to Rutgers in Camden. This was music to Natasha's ears!! She spent a lot of weekends visiting him in Camden, where they got to experience Philly and see many cool sites!! Naturally, Natasha also fell in love with the Cherry Hill mall ;) These three LONG years consisted of lots of quiet study dates and an immense amount of patience. They were full of stressful weeks, exams, classes, and weeks of not seeing each other. However, they made it through! What seemed like the tallest mountain is now a distant memory!

The Proposal

FINALLY!

After 7 years, George finally popped the question in August 2018! George surprised Natasha in her favorite place in the world... Lindos Castle, Rhodes, Greece. Natasha went to the beach with her cousins that day, and as she approached the shore, a boat began to ring a bell from inside the water. When Natasha looked up, she saw George on the boat with a banner that said, "Natasha, will you marry me?" It is all still a blur to Natasha, but she does remember the whole beach screaming, "Say yes, say yes!!!" Natasha said yes, and the boat took off to meet her family and relatives across the bay. Everyone got on the boat and went for a boat ride in the beautiful, majestic waters! It was a dream! She is still waiting to wake up and wishes to relive that moment.
