Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We know your kids are awesome, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 16 on our wedding day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

we'd love to have everyone, but budget and space mean it's just not possible. Therefore, 'Plus Ones' will only be allowed if we have space because someone else declines our invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There’s a four-level city parking lot across from the Courthouse on Anacapa Street, where the first 75 minutes are free and $1.50 for each hour after that. The Harbor Restaurant offers free valet parking on the pier.

Is photography allowed in the Mural Room?

Answer

Yes, but NO FLASH is allowed inside the Mural Room.

Why the Santa Barbara Courthouse?

Answer

Don't let the name deceive you, The Mural Room is a gorgeous ceremony room, not a church, but not your typical court room either.

Will there be a wedding reception?

Answer

Yes, however, the reception will consist of dinner, cake, and light entertainment only.

We have pre-selected wonderful dinner choices that guests will choose from at the restaurant.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No. Only water, soda, iced tea and coffee will be included with our meal. Guests that wish to order alcoholic drinks may do so and will be presented with separate checks for those drinks.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than September 01. If a response is not received by this date, then we will assume that you are not able to make it and your seat will be forfeited.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Inn by the Harbor Hotel 433 West Montecito Street, Santa Barbara, CA (805) 963-7851 This hotel is where the bride & groom will be staying the night before the wedding (in separate rooms) and the wedding parties will use the rooms to get dressed and relax before the ceremony. The bride and groom will also be staying at this hotel the night of the wedding until the following Monday morning. Sunday night we have an extra 'crash room' for anyone who was unable to book a hotel reservation. Join us if you would like!
