FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to wear formal western or Indian/South Asian attire. If not wearing a traditional outfit, the following attire is required: - Men: Business casual, which can include tailored trousers or chinos, with collared long sleeve shirt neatly tucked into the trousers ~ Jackets and ties are welcome, but optional. - Women: Elegant choice of dress, skirt, pant suit or tailored outfit. - Children (under 16): Collared shirts or blouses ~ Tailored pants, skirts or dresses of modest length.

Question

Does the venue have a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a dress code. The following attire is considered 'inappropriate' by the venue: - Cargo shorts and pants - Faded, ripped, frayed, or distressed denim - Collarless long or short-sleeve T-shirts - Apparel with overt advertising messages or slogans - Hats (except for religious headwear, ceremonial dress, or special occasions like the Melbourne Cup) - Midriffs, crop tops, halter tops, mini skirts, exposed undergarments, or see-through fabrics (cultural attire, such as sarees and lehengas, is allowed). - Leisurewear, sweatshirts, sweatpants, tracksuits, and hoodies - Work boots, beach sandals, thongs, runners, or sport/street-style shoes (unless required by Health and Wellness Centre rules) If you’re ever unsure, please check with us :)

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary requirement?

Answer

Please be sure to mention any dietary requirements when you RSVP. This includes any food allergies, dietary restrictions (such as vegetarian or vegan preferences), or if you do not eat certain types of food.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, discounted parking is available for our guests at a rate of $8 at 'Uptown Parking' (Address: 66 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane, QLD, 4000), which is just a 5-minute walk from the venue. To take advantage of the discount, take a parking ticket when you enter the Uptown Parking area, park your car, and then bring the ticket to the reception venue's concierge. They will validate the ticket for you. Once validated, the standard parking fee will be reduced, and you will only need to pay $8 when you exit the parking facility.

Question

What time should I arrive for the reception?

Answer

We kindly ask all our guests to arrive at the venue by 5:45 PM. We have scheduled food and activities for the reception and want to ensure that no one misses out, and we do not want to be running late.

Question

Where should I sit at the reception?

Answer

Please refer to the seating chart at the venue. All guests will be assigned to a table.

Question

If I have a question that is not addressed here, who should I contact?

Answer

Question

On the day of the wedding day if I have a question, who do I contact?

Answer

Question

Can I bring a plus one or additional guests who are not listed on the guest list?

Answer

Question

What happens if I RSVP after the deadline or don’t RSVP at all?

Answer

If we don’t receive your RSVP by the deadline, we’ll have to assume you’re not attending and unfortunately won’t be able to include you in the final guest list. We truly hope you can join us, so please let us know by the RSVP date!
