YES! We are going to be a having a specific time for group photos with us, so prepare who you want to take it with. There will also be a money dance! This is a south Louisiana wedding tradition where you give honeymoon money to the bride and groom for a few moments to dance and visit with them on the dance floor!
All invites will have specific names of who is invited, that includes plus ones and kids, so unless it is stated on the invite or the RSVP, then no.
The ceremony will start at 4:30 so we ask that you would start arriving by 4 and no later than 4:20 to give time for everyone to settle in.
There is no specific dress code but we would ask that you would dress semi-formal. If you would like to be on theme we are having a fall wedding in the woods. Colors would be greens, browns, rusty oranges and reds, or any fall-time colors. The ceremony is in a forest and the reception is in a barn so please keep that in mind.
Our wedding will mainly be outdoors. The ceremony will be in the forest and the reception in a barn/covered area.
Yes it is all on the same property and very close to each other. It is not a lot of walking and we do have access to a cart to help with anyone who needs assistance.
We are doing a finger food selection instead of a proper meal. With that we should have enough options there for you to have at least something. If you are worried about it, feel free to bring your own small snack.
