One of the most beautiful spots in Sevilla. You won't want to miss this one. It's quintessential Sevilla!
Also known as Metropol Parasol. Olivia's favorite spot in the city center. A huge "mushroom" shaped structure that you can go up inside -- amazing views of the city from above!
The largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Don't miss "La Giralda" -- the big bell tower that you can walk to the top of.
Beautiful palace and gardens. Be on the lookout for the "media naranja/half orange" room with a large orange domed ceiling. Fun fact: in Spain, people say "Eres mi media naranja" or "You are my half orange" to mean that you are my better half/my soul mate :) Recommended to buy tickets in advance.
Big, bustling food market right by the riverside. Go inside, grab some great food, and then sit outside in the lounge areas by the river to eat it! There's also a great outdoor bar right outside.
The old Jewish quarter and Sevilla's "old town," now a pretty area downtown to walk around with cute shops and restaurants.
Park right next to the Plaza de España. There are even a few museums alongside it.
Sevilla's football/soccer stadium. If the schedule lines up right, you might be able to pop in for a match. This is where Olivia saw her first soccer/football game, not knowing that she'd one day have a football match on TV at home (thanks to George) every weekend probably until the day she dies.
--Catch a Flamenco show in the city where it originated --Grab amazing tapas (usually the best ones are in the tiniest tapas restaurants) --Try churros and chocolate for dessert, and a refreshing wine drink called Tinto de Verano. And the typical Spanish way to order your coffee: a "cafe con leche." --Walk (or rent a bike to cycle) around the Guadalquivir river. --Take a tour of the bullfighting ring, La Maestranza. --Take a day trip to one of the many beautiful surrounding cities: Córdoba, Cádiz, Ronda, or Granada.
