How We Met

“Tik Tok Stalker”

People always ask how we met, and the honest answer is… modern romance at its finest: TikTok stalking. For months, I would casually appear in his TikTok lives. And by “casually,” I mean I was there every time like a very supportive but slightly suspicious background character. I never really spoke much — just quietly observing, like a nature documentary but with more chaos and questionable music choices. Meanwhile, he probably had no idea that one of his most loyal viewers was secretly conducting a full investigation from behind a screen. Then one day, I decided it was time to make a bold move. Not a small move. A grand, slightly unhinged move. I bought drinks for him and his friends. Yes, instead of saying hello like a normal person, I chose the universal language of friendship: alcohol. Suddenly I went from “random person in the comments” to “the legend who bought the drinks.” And just like that, we finally spoke properly. A little chatting later, and he invited me down to Milton Keynes for a night out. Now, any sensible person might have thought about it carefully… but obviously I thought, “Why not? What’s the worst that could happen?” So off I went to Milton Keynes to meet the man I had been professionally stalking on TikTok for months. And somehow, against all odds, it turned out to be one of the best nights ever. The conversation flowed, the laughs didn’t stop, and somewhere between the drinks, the jokes, and the slightly questionable decision-making… something just clicked. Fast forward to now, and the guy I once watched through a phone screen is the person I get to spend my life with. So technically, our love story started with TikTok stalking, escalated with surprise drinks, and ended with a night out in Milton Keynes. Which just proves that sometimes the best relationships start in the most unexpected ways… and occasionally with a little bit of harmless stalking.
