We’re getting married!

It started off with two people who never met crossing paths in a mall in Boston to then beginning their journey in a Gym with our nemisis "The Arc Trainer" :-O. We began with 60 minute dates of cardio hell and once I determined the googly eyes she was giving me were actually dehydrated retinals which at the time were considered cute turned into 120 minutes of "Why are we doing this for 2 hours now?" A tight tush and domino's dates with pineapples and sweet peppers later and we were stuck like glue. She loved Braveheart and I was just in love. She loves Miracle Whip and I love that she doesn't care that Kraft mayo tastes better. Most importantly she finally gets that as a New England Patriots fan they just were not "Lucky" all those years. She was born in Rhode Island I was born in New York but after leaving Massachusetts where we met I realized I could not live without her. She moved to New York and gave me a chance to show her I was her everything not knowing she was already my forever. Sneaky you say? Well sneaky is proposing to her and never knowing when it was coming, thats what you call 9 years of sneakiness and misdirection. #misdirectionKing In the end it's all about one thing. Patience. Ok maybe two things patience and love both of which we have. unlimited love with a side of patience. If you serve me that on a plate I'd pay $16.99 for that kinda meal (Tax Included) but one thing I'd never be able to buy is how in love I have been since meeting my forever. Never would I have ever thought anyone would ever like my domino toppings let alone love me forever. True love at it's best and the story it has brought us to write we hope you all get to read and enjoy it as much as we have loved to live it.

It’s no secret that Joe and I have been together for a long time. I knew that at around the 9 year mark to be on high alert for a ring. Joe told me for Christmas he had only one gift for me and that it was special. I immediately knew i was getting a ring on Christmas. I had no idea that our white elephant party on Dec 14th was his plan. I had just got back from visiting Rhode Island and worked a million hours at work. I was exhausted and getting sick. The night before our party i told Joe we should cancel because i felt so sick. He kept reassuring me that everything would be fine. A couple hours before the party i was really sick so i took a nap. I woke up to the doorbell ringing and his brother and sisters coming in with tables, food and all the supplies for the party. In a matter of minutes they had a bar setup, a cheese station, dessert platters, decorations and the fridge full of food. I didn’t understand why they were going so hard but I was so sick I was just thankful. We finally got to our white elephant present giving moment and Rania had told me that the host has to pick last. I received the number one and actually thought it the worst number to get, however, it’s the best because you’re the last person to go and you can switch for any present that you want at the end. Little did i know they rigged it so i picked the number 1. Everyone picked there gifts and as i was the last one to go i was sitting in a chair. Joe was directly behind me and everyone kept saying to stand up to pick the best gift but i could see everything from sitting down so i didnt feel the need to stand. Joe then grabbed me to pick me up saying something like, “you should stand up,” i immediately knew it was going down and became super nervous. Obviously, i said yes!! He got me though, i never saw it coming and was suprised. :) it was so special to have family and friends be there for our special moment. It will be a day i never forget!
