Maid of Honor
Kate and Hope met in 1974, when Kate was dating Hope’s brother Greg. They were roomates in Pacific Heights, San Francisco in 1978-1979 when Hope was their Maid of Honor. They became “Sister Dears” and have remained so until this day, despite being geographically challenged throughout most of the years. Kate will be travelling from Chicago for the wedding (provided she’s able to be vaccinated by then – fingers crossed!) Kate shares Hope & Georges’ #livefortoday mindset partly due to being a reluctant member of the Widows Club after losing her beloved husband Bob to a heart attack in 2014. She went on to reinvent herself as a successful Real Estate Agent in Chicago and loves her career. Kate’s father and Hope’s mother were both in the R.E. industry as well, so it must be in our blood.
Richard Gabaldon
Best Man
Richard is George's first cousin, the son of George's Father's oldest sister. He is a Southern California native, an avid golfer, watch aficionado and wine enthusiast. He is a Vietnam vet, and retired Postmaster of San Pedro. He and his wife Debra live in a beautiful Condominium on the beach in Long Beach with stunning views of downtown.
Greg Bullen
Man of Honor
Greg is Hope's oldest sibling, and will be stepping in for their late father Lee to walk her down the aisle (aka backyard cement walkway!) and give her away.
