You’ll arrive at the Benedict Castle between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM for the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony, you’ll have some time to relax on the castle grounds, take photos, and say hello to friends and family. Don’t forget to grab a bag of traditional Lebanese nuts on your way out! You’ll then head to the reception at The Mitten Building, about a 20-minute drive, aiming to arrive by 5:00 PM. From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, enjoy drinks and appetizers while mingling. The rest of the evening will include dinner, music, dancing, and celebration, with the festivities wrapping up around 11:00 PM.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie, or a sports coat!
We are not offering hotel blocks for our wedding. Please refer to the Travel & Accommodations tab at the top of this page, where we’ve listed two hotels near the ceremony location in Riverside and two hotels near The Mitten Building, close to the reception. Please note that the ceremony and reception venues are about a 20-minute drive apart.
Transportation will not be provided for this wedding. Please note that guests cannot leave their cars at the Benedict Castle, as the venue closes at 9:00 PM. There is plenty of parking available at The Mitten Building for the reception.
Yes! There is plenty of parking at The Mitten Building. Upon arrival, look for signs directing you to the appropriate lot.
The celebration will wind down around 11:00 PM. We won’t be having an after-party.
Absolutely! Riverside has numerous great spots to explore. From local restaurants and coffee shops to beautiful parks and historic sites, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to explore downtown Riverside, visit the Mission Inn, or hike Mt. Roudibuex. While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
