In 2024, George was playing rugby for NOLA Gold, and I was working as a Physician Assistant in orthopedics at Tulane. We helped care for the team when injuries occurred (which in rugby happen very often). Our paths technically first crossed a year earlier when I helped complete his preoperative appointment prior to surgery. However, fate decided to give that knee another plot twist. When George injured it again, he found himself back in clinic—this time seeing me again. Not long after, George reached out, we went on our first date the very next week, and the rest is history. From then on, we have been together ever since—grateful that our shared worlds of rugby and medicine brought us together at exactly the right time we needed it most! We are so excited to share this next step in our journey with you!
