The Art Institute of Chicago boasts an extensive display of modern art but for a limited time (through October 5, 2025), the Institute is also showing an exhibition of one of Abi’s favorite impressionist painters, Gustave Caillebotte, aptly titled “Painting His World”. His paintings focus on everyday life in urban Paris using his adaptation Impressionism and Realism that was uniquely his own in the late nineteenth century.
