FAQs

The Wedding Website of Michelle Pierrot and Allan George
We are truly looking forward to celebrating this amazing day with each and everyone one of you. We hope to ensure everyones safety and make this an amazing celebration in the beautiful island of St. Thomas! Below are a few questions we anticipate. For any additional questions, please email us at GeorgeWedding22@gmail.com.
Question

Do I need a passport to travel to St. Thomas?

Answer

Yes and No. We strongly encourage use of your passport while on this trip. However, you may be able to travel with only your United States license and birth certificate as St. Thomas is a US territory. If this is the case, please make sure to research the requirements for your specific travel needs to ensure no changes have been.

Question

Do I need a visa to travel to St. Thomas?

Answer

No. If you are a US citizen, you do not need a visa to travel to St. Thomas. St. Thomas is a United States territory and part of the United States Virgin Islands or USVI for short.

Question

Do I need to get COVID tested?

Answer

Yes. COVID tests prior to arrival are required due to travel requirements. We strongly encourage PCR tests rather than rapid tests.

Question

Will I need to be vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

It is strongly recommended that guests become vaccinated prior to attending the wedding although it is not mandated by St. Thomas government at this time.

Question

Should I wear a mask?

Answer

Yes. If you are not vaccinated, masks are encouraged. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Formal/Black Tie. The wedding is NOT at a beach. Sundresses and shorts are not appropriate. Out of respect to the couple, please do not wear white, ivory or cream colors. (Accents are acceptable).

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. We suggest a light jacket or shawl for those that may get chilly in the evenings.

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your RSVP card located within your invitation regarding guests. While we would love to celebrate with all of our friends and family, we are limited on spacing at this time and we cannot accommodate plus ones at the ceremony and reception. Guests are welcome to join us at other events throughout the weekend.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please refer to the Travel page on this website for information regarding flights, hotels and transportation. Guests are welcome to arrange separate accommodations as well as private transportation services.
