Where should I stay?

Markree Courtyard is right next to Markree Castle and has 10 rooms available to book. Castledale is right between Sligo and Markree Castle and is another great options. These are great options for where to stay on June 20th, the night of the wedding. https://markreecourtyard.ie/bedrooms/ https://www.castledalesligo.com/ Sligo and Strandhill are a ~15 minute drive away from Markree Castle. There are many hotels, Airbnbs, etc in the area. We will be staying in Sligo Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (June 17, 18, 19). Activities will take place in this area. There are limited rooms to book at the Markree Castle for the night of the wedding (Monday). Not to worry, Sligo, and nearby airbnbs are a short drive or taxi away.

How do I get to Sligo from Dublin

Answer

Car, bus, or train. By vehicle the trip is ~2.5 hours and by train the trip is ~3.5 hours (shortest appears to be right around 3 hours). Dublin train is 10 minutes south of the Dublin airport and the train goes to downtown Sligo. https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/
