We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Brooke and George met back in November 2017 coaching for the same club volleyball program. As a coaching staff, we would all go out for drinks and apps after late practices. Never did we think this is how it would end up. Fast forward ahead to our first weekend tournament in Connecticut. Brooke had to stay in a hotel 20 minutes away from all of the other coaches. George asked Brooke if she wanted to go get pizza before she had to drive back to her hotel and she accepted his offer. Brooke said that they will always remember their first date in a tiny pizza joint in Connecticut. After they got pizza, George was being a gentlemen and drove Brooke back to the hotel and decided to have a drink at the hotel bar with Brooke. Little did George know Brooke's mother was sitting at the bar waiting for Brooke to get back. Brooke (no surprise) didn't feel good from the pizza and got sick. George stayed at the hotel bar with Brooke's mom and that's when he knew he would fit into Brooke's family just fine.

George asked Brooke to take a personal day from work, to help him coach at the Boston Convention Center for the weekend. Little did she know she was going to get engaged! That morning, Brooke was texting her family and little did she know they were already at the Convention Center. George parked the car at the hotel and walked over to the Convention Center. Brooke asked why they had to walk around to the front of the Convention Center instead of going in the back entrance. George told Brooke that they had to meet the team at the front of the building where security was. Brooke and George got to security, and luckily Brooke went into a different line. The security guy told George to empty his pockets. Without Brooke hearing, George had to tell the guy he couldn’t. He looked at him and said you have to and George said, “I have a ring in my pocket”. The security guy told George he had to take it out and George said, “Go get the guy who is running the tournament. You can follow me into the Convention Center and see what’s about to happen.” The security guy let George go through and thankfully Brooke didn’t hear any of this. George had asked Brooke to take a picture of all the volleyball courts from up above, which wasn’t unusual because they do it every year. Brooke walked over to the glass and saw all of the Mass Impact girls on the floor. As soon as Brooke realized it was his team, the girls had signs that read “Brooke, will you marry Coach?” Brooke had NO IDEA this was happening. She screamed, turned around and there was George on one knee. Everyone in the Boston Convention Center knew this was happening and recorded the whole thing. Flash forward to later that night, George told Brooke that they had dinner reservations with a bunch of coaches. Brooke didn’t think anything of it, went back to the hotel and got ready for dinner. George yet again, surprised Brooke with a little engagement party at Legal Harborside with all friends and family greeting them!

2 years later, a Global Pandemic hit and it honestly couldn't have been better for Brooke and George's relationship. Brooke and George bought their first house together in July 2020 in Danvers, MA. While Brooke and George had some downtime that summer, George started his own volleyball club, Mass Impact. Brooke and George are living this incredible life, and cannot wait to start this new chapter of marriage!
