Get INTERNATIONAL DRIVER'S PERMIT if you rent a car. It’s VERY easy to get. Visit your nearest AAA branch with two passport-sized photos, $20 & Driver’s License. It'll be issued on the spot.
Quads and mopeds require an International Driver’s Permit.
Don’t tip your waiter like an American. Round your bill to the nearest euro (or 2 euro) if you’re feeling generous.
Save euros for souvenir shops, beach-chair rentals & tips.
There’s WiFi everywhere. You don’t need an international wireless plan. Put your cell phone in AIRPLANE MODE. Use social media/mobile apps (Whatsapp, Viber) instead.
