The address for Reinstein Ranch is 8201 Highland Road Livermore, CA 94551. When you arrive, please do not use the main driveway. Continue east on Highland Road and enter at the next green gate - there will be signs. You’ll take the road straight to the parking area and enter the ranch using the trail gate. We will have a parking attendant to direct you and ensure your cars are safe.
Please plan to drive yourself to the ceremony and park for free in the lot provided. You can also book a Lyft to and from the venue, or reach out to other guests to form a car pool. Warning: part of the drive to our venue is on a winding, two-lane road with little lighting. We want everyone to be safe, so please ensure you have a designated driver or take a Lyft. Worst case scenario, you are welcome to set up a tent and camp overnight on the property -- I'm not kidding!
This will be an outdoor wedding on a ranch in October. We've checked the weather, and we're predicting a maximum temperature of 75 degrees and a low of 50. We will have a fire pit and some heaters scattered throughout the reception, but definitely bring something to help you keep warm!
Nope! Keep in mind you'll be walking on grass, dirt, and gravel; playing lawn games; and dancing on a wooden platform. Really, we just want you to be comfortable...but please, no jean shorts. Ladies: we recommend a casual or cocktail dress, a sweater or jacket, and comfortable shoes. You might want to bring leggings if you plan to stay until midnight! Gentlemen: we recommend a button-down shirt -- no need to wear a suit or tie -- some khakis or dress pants, a jacket/sport coat, and comfortable shoes.
Yep! However, our site coordinator would like you to know that some parts of the ranch are not kid-friendly; therefore, your kids will need to be supervised at all times!
The site coordinator is very flexible, but there are some things she won't tolerate: - No smoking! - Clean up after yourself -- we'll be packing in and packing out - Some parts of the ranch are off limits to guests. We will provide you with a map and do our best to keep you "in bounds" - Don't feed, touch, bother, or even go near the horses.
