We are getting our happily ever after!

Jen was working for a prominent Chiropractor in Atlanta at the time, and as any large and busy office does, they had a team building event. The team building task? Nerf wars, and tasty food at a co-workers house. We will call the co-worker Laura... because that is her real name. Geoffrey was friends with Laura and her husband Drew as they had worked together in the past. Laura in her infinite match making wisdom was all like "Have you met Geoff?", and Jen was like "Nope, not interested." This all led to their first "not a date" date when Geoffrey got Jen's number from Drew and Laura. He called asking "Are you hungry?" which is obviously a yes, because who is not hungry? Anyways the rest as they say... is history.

We have been dating for 5 years which in the world of dating is a fairly long time, and we have acted as life partners through most of it. We have been through a lot together, and our love grows every day as do our wrinkles and grey hairs. With three kiddos running around it is often difficult to get time for something as special as a proposal. When the opportunity arose to see one of our favorite musicians in concert, we took it. Of course Jen knew nothing of a ring, and with lawn seats to the concert it was important to grab a blanket... Which she forgot. Meanwhile Geoffrey forgot something as well. The ring. So while the plan was to pop the big question in the middle of Chris Stapleton's 'Joy of my Life', that is not what happened. Instead the next evening Geoffrey began to play the song from his Apple Music Playlist, and placed the perfect little ring on the perfect little finger.
